The Eastlake Eye
Congrats to Eastlake resident and ECC Board Member Peter Haley who has the feature photo (taken from his deck) in The Seattle Times’ Pacific NW Magazine this week.
The photo (shown above) has a mystical quality to it as The Seattle Times said, “The open bridge appears to be engaged in an act of sun worship….foreground-to-background, this is all beautiful.”
And there is an other worldliness to it – the poetic tension between the open bridge and the spanning bridge above, both beckoning us through on the shimmering water guided by the radio towers acting like beacons. All this under a setting sun.
